LOL... I guess it depends on your personal preferences, because I LOVE the weather in San Francisco!! I absolutely hate hot weather, and don't really like the sun (I'm a redhead), so SF is just perfect for me.

That's probably our average temperature, which I personally think is PERFECT!! It does get warmer occasionally in the summer, and winter temps average closer to 55 - sometimes drops into the 30s at night too, like it has this past week. But overall, you'll rarely feel any weather that's really hot or really cold, unless you're outside of SF proper. We also have many micro-climates even within the city, so the weather can be very different from the Sunset district (foggy), to the Bayview (sunnier but windy), to downtown (somewhere in-between).

LMAO... funny thing is, I absolutely hate the weather in FL, and can't imagine living in that stifling heat/humidity. Blech!!! Also, doesn't the OP live in San Jose? The weather there is very different from San Francisco, so I'm not sure if he's complaining about our weather or theirs. SJ is much warmer than SF, and doesn't get the famous San Francisco fog.

The weather is one of the Bay Area's greatest assets, according to many but if you like 80's and 90's year round and high humidity, it's not so good. I hated north Florida weather, the hot, wet towel(humidity) you get thrown in your face when you walk out of the airport...not a nice feeling IMO but to each his own.
I'd move to San Francisco just for the fabulous weather, now if the rents would just go down....

With the great climate it would be unlikely for rents to go down. Too many people, including myself, moved here for it.

Hmmm... maybe that's the key. Yes, the weather SUX BIG TIME. Nobody should move here! And if you move here you'll die in an EARTHQUAKE!!
