Default SF has fastest rising rents in the nation!

Southern California InFocus - Four California cities in top 10 for highest rent

Double whammy of hurt for the Bay Area. Most expensive home price in the nation and the 2nd most expensive rents and climbing.

The rents go up every year, if you live in a new building, you are not covered by rent control so you will pay rent at market rate, and even if you move into a rent control building your rent will start off at market rate so any way you are going to get hosed.

You know what will fix all that? A nice "BIG" earthquake to rattle the nerves of the money thirsty landlords, earth quakes are actually good for the environment and for the U-Haul moving companies, trust me, a nice earthquake will get people on the move again and the cost of living will stagnate for a while.

Back in 1989 late October it was nice seeing all the for rent and for sale signs, and U Haul trucks everywhere in every neighborhood.

It's true, had it not been for the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake, there's no way I could have ever afforded an apartment in this beautiful expensive over priced city, I love it here but I dont feel I'm getting my moneys worth, so I'm planning on moving to higher grounds anyway.

Most folks who live in SF are usually rich young people who milked the tech industry.

Sf is full of geeks who make 6 figures easy hands down.

Thats why they charge much for rent cuz people have big wallets their.
