Hi. My wife and I are moving to the bay area in July. I am going to be working at Oakland airport and she is a substitute teacher. What are good areas for us to look into renting that is not outrageously priced and sorta safe?! Thanks! She will be attending college in Hayward also. Thanks for any help.

Lots of places.
What's your budget for rent? Oakland has lots of good areas but it all depends on how much you can swing rentwise. Aside from Oakland itself, definitely take a look at Alameda and San Leandro-dunno what your tolerance is for commuting but these 2 towns have great airport access. |

Hi. We are looking in the 1000-1200 rent range if that helps at all?!
