i live in the west third west 9th district. most of the people who are giving you advice probably don't live there. stay away from this area there is tons of gang activity and there is never a day without police activity. My grandpa lives in apple valley this is home to the nortenos street gang so stay away from here also. My cousin lives over in roseland which is also really bad. This is home to the surenos street gang the rival of the nortenos, my advice is to stay away from these parts. Also bellvue trailer park has its fair share of problems. other than that its not too bad.
