Default Hayward/San Leandro/Castro Valley apartments?

Hello, all,

Has anyone heard of or lived in decent apartment complexes in Hayward, San Leandro or Castro Valley? Looking to spend $1050-$1250 on a 1-bedroom.

I live in the Bay Area so I'm well aware that there are more pleasant cities nearby like Dublin or Fremont. However, at this point I'm only asking about the 3.

Thank you for your help!
