Default Ban Smoking in San Francisco

Why not make it a Smoke Free City? Make it illegal to smoke in San Francisco.

why not just take away all of our rights that you don't think we should have while we're at it? It's pretty much banned everywhere already anyways. You anti-smoking zealots are creating a backlash from non-smokers with your extreme nanny govt laws. Slippery slope you're on there......

My campus has banned smoking campus-wide and the results are beneficial to the majority of students. It is great to not have to worry about inhaling smoke walking around campus or outside of the buildings. I know many people have decided to quit because of the difficulty in having to leave campus to smoke. It would be very hard to implement on a city-wide basis, though.

I'd wager dollars to donuts that there were no benefits to the majority of students.

That doesn't seem to be the consensus. Not having to deal with clouds of smoke all over the place is very beneficial to me - that's for sure.
