Default Advice req'd for taking bus/train/bus from Santa Cruz to Rohnert Park

Hiyas,

We'll be heading to Rohnert Park next week ... going to get a bus from Santa Cruz to San Jose, Caltrain to the city, then another bus (GG transit) to RP.

Was glancing at a map and seeing that the Golden Gate Transit bus routes SF-->RP (70 & 80) don't seem to go to the SF Caltrain station. Can anyone confirm this, and offer advice as to how best we can get to a GGT 70 or 80 bus after alighting at Caltrain SF?

Thanks!

Kev

Golden Gate busses go to the Transbay terminal between Mission and Howard. This is about - maybe 5 blocks north of the Caltrain station. You can either walk or take the light rail from Caltrain to the Embarcadero station and walk maybe a block south.

Can't state it any better than that. You could also transfer to BART at Millbrae if you wanted and take it to Montgomery instead, then walk east to First and take a right.

Ok thanks, if that's the case, with about 90 kilos of luggage, I think we're gonna go Amtrak San Jose to Martinez and then bus from there to RP. (Its quicker, too!)

Thanks again!
