Default I will be living in the Mission Bay area...

in the next 9 months or so. Is there any advice about safety/convenience that you would like to give me? Thanks.

SoMa in general is going to be undergoing a renaissance for the next few years, but Mission Bay is already well under way with the gentrifying and is about as safe and convenient as you could possibly want. You really get the feeling like the world is at your fingertips, there's so much to do and see. That's my take on it anyway.
