Looking at everyone's suggestions, are there any good places that have a nice veggie selections or yummy pastas w/o meat? Two of us are veggie and sea food people only and the other two will eat anything?????
One restaurant in Napa that has generated a lot of buzz lately is Ubuntu. It's a vegetarian restaurant that was recently opened by Deanie and Jeremy Fox. I haven't eaten at the restaurant myself, but I have had several meals at Manresa, where Jeremy was chef de cuisine and Deanie was a pastry chef. It's on my list of restaurants to check out on one of my future trips to Wine Country.

Hi,

I'm actually going to be transferred to the Rutherford Grill soon as a restaurant manager, and I currently live in LA.

Do you have any recommendations of places to live near the Rutherford? I would prefer to live no more than 10 miles away from the restaurant, but I think 5 miles would be better since I will be closing the restaurant and driving late.

Do you happen to have any suggestions on safe and well-kept apartment complexes or even cities in general that you think I should look into? I have heard that many employees live in Yountville.

Thanks in advance!

Yountville is an great choice to live, if you're coming from Rutherford. I can't tell you about any apartments, since I lived in a house in Napa. I don't know about current living conditions in the Valley, since I moved to Las Vegas three years ago. ^_^;
