Default So. San Francisco

I'm mulling over the idea of moving to South San Francisco and am wondering whether departing airplanes from SFO create any noise pollution in that city.

Can anyone provide an opinion?

Thanks.

Do they ever!!! I hear them all day and all night. Interrupts conversations sometimes. They also leave a fine layer of dirt on your car every night, so don't bother washing it.. I don't mind but it's certainly one of the reasons why it's cheaper to live here.

Personally, I'd rather live in a place where it's cheaper because there's a little noise pollution, rather than because it's unsafe or extremely far away from employment centers. That's why I choose to live in South San Francisco.

They are a way of life in north San Mateo County. In SSF, go closer to San Bruno Mountain and it's much, much less an issue.
