Default Tracy Trains

I was thinking of moving to Tracy and was wondering what tracks were active? The planned area was near 4th Street and Tracy Blvd. There are tracks that run through the area, but I am not sure that they area active. I a have spoken to several of the neighborhood residents and they indicated that they have only seen or heard a train once or twice in the last 4-6 months. Is this accurate or is it on a more regular basis? I just dont want to move to a neighborhood where i wake up every morning at 3am to a rushing train rattling my house or a train horn.

The ACE train between Stockton and San Jose stops in Tracy. But it only runs westbound during the morning commute and eastbound during the evening commute hours.

What you describe seems accurate. I don't live in that area, but I know some people who live near those tracks. I would say it more like once every 1-2 months, but rarely if ever at night. Does sometimes come through during rush-hour.

As humboldtrat stated, the ACE Train near Linne Road gets used daily.
