Default Half Moon Bay, South San Francisco, Foster City

What's it like to actually live in Half Moon Bay (ocean colony) and how long of a commute would it be to South San Francisco?
The other option is Foster City to South San Francisco.
Thank you.

Half Moon Bay is a small town with a nice main street. There are many farms in the area where they grow cool weather crops such as artichokes, brussell sprouts and pumpkins. Next month, there will be a pumpkin festival IN HMB California Bay Area Festivals-HMB Art & Pumpkin Festival.

The weather is usually cool and foggy along the coast - sometimes 15 degrees cooler than towns just 20 miles inland from the ocean.

The commute may not be so great. There are only 2 roads out of HMB and both of them are 2 lanes. Hwy 92 going west toward I-280 is a windy road that goes over the hills and Hwy 1 north towards San Francisco is also a 2 lane road along the coast. There is sometimes truck traffic on both roads.

Here are some HMB photos: http://www.terragalleria.com/califor...n-bay.all.html
