pacifica or burlingame or daly city
currently considering pacifica, burlingame or daly city
I am young (in 20s), my wife is young, we have 2 year old son.
We would like to live in the city, but they places where we can afford at this moment are not so great for commuting -- and I'll probably will have to commute via Caltrain to Palo Alto/MV/.. or either will have to work in the city.
What could be the best spot? We are thinking to take our son to day care in the city (north beach). Or are there any really good day cares around the places which I mentioned?
Fog and cold is okay -- we are tired of hot weather in L.A.
How bad is "suburbanism" of those cities? Any walkable streets around, or we will have to drive somewhere (= city :-) for sure? 12-18 miles does not sound too bad, but still it would be nice to have a good option of nice place close by...
How "dead" is everything around? Like after 9pm -- everybody are sleeping already, right?
Any advices on nice apartment complexes which I can look into?
Personally would probably prefer Pacifica, but need your help!!
