Question Relocating with Verizon Wireless to San Francisco area - Questions!

Hello! I am currently working for Alltel and am soon to be working for Verizon and am wondering if anyone that works for Verizon could shed some light as to where some nice stores are and what area / market to target for a transfer.

Does anyone have any experience transferring with Verizon? Was it smooth or difficult?

I really want to live/work somewhere near the coast by 15-30 minutes and love the outdoors, mountains, rivers, hiking, camping and general adventure..I'm hoping those are things I can satisfy near the San Francisco area or nearby..

Anyones info could help! Thanks!
