Question pros and cons of moving to Anitoch..Please

Could you please let me know what living in Antioch is like, especaily around Deer Valley road by the high school. We are considering buying a house out there and I would really like to your opinons. We are both in our early 40's with all our children out of the house, so no school kids. My husband would be commuting to Walnut Creek and I have a home based business.
Thank-you

Pros -- The Mecca on Railroad Ave in Pittsburg.
Cons -- traffic, crime, foreclosures and gangs.

But really -- The Mecca might make it worth it.....

DONT DO IT!!! I lived in Antioch and Pitt for years and I hated it! Waaaaaaaaaay too damn hot, nothing out there, all the people from East Oakland are beginning to come out that way, and the lis goes on. I moved my ass back to the bay, I live in Oakland. The Sea View area, which is breath taking. Look on google earth. ( download it, its free and safe). Look n these areas in Oakland. Sea view, Bellevue, Hampton rd, redwood, trestle Glen rd, and you'll find others along the way
