Default "Sundance Apartments" Vallejo, Ca

Hi, someone suggested since i'm moving to Solano county to check into the "Sundance Apartments" in Vallejo (near Redwood Hwy and east of I-80). Can anyone give pros or cons about either "Sundance" or Vallejo in general...

Thx in advance

Vallejo is a mixed city. There are a few factories there and some parts of Vallejo feel industrialized. Yet, Vallejo also has some nicer areas, especially along i-80. Sorry, I can't give too many specifics as I don't know the area well. WHy are you moving to Vallejo?

Hi Sonic - the areas of Vallejo along i-80 are older neighborhoods -- they are not as nice as if you go inward, especially near Benecia.

I don't recommend moving here at all. See my other posts for more info (crime, bankruptcy, etc.). But if you must, I suppose east Vallejo is not so bad - Somerset (Georgia between Ascot and Columbus) and the surrounding area, and perhaps some of the newer neighborhoods like Campobello or Eagle Ridge on Redwood (also between Ascot and Columbus).

Its really unfortunate that Vallejo is such a crappy town. Geographically/topographically speaking, its very pretty. If you look above the tree line, its pretty nice. Its when you bring your eyes down to street level that you get a dose of reality.

Big NO on Vallejo. Dangerous isn't even the word for that place.
