Is it safe to live in Hayward? (Specific area) (Cherryland: buying a house, buying)

My parents are in the process of buying a house, so I was curious if someone can let me know if Cherryland Park area of Hayward is safe? Thank you

I mean its general an OK area. Some Apt complexes can sometimes have issues going on,Yet that can be anywhere in the Bay. But most of the areas are ok.And if you have a house, knowbody will bother you. You should Google map the streets,and see from the pics they have. If I had a chance to buy a house there, I would do it. If your from a major city, The area wouldn't faze you at all. Most of the people their are pretty nice.
