Redwood City
Hey All
We are a married couple with no kids . We are going to relocate to Redwood city because I got a job over there . We need to know where are the best suburbs around Redwood city. We are looking for a clean safe descent place . We are going to rent an apartment for a while and we can pay up to $2500 for the monthly rent . Can you please recommend a suburb for us

No kids? The main problem with Redwood City is the schools. Barring that, there's really no reason not to live there, because it's affordable but safe. There are some very nice places around Wellesley Crescent.

Most of Redwood City is fine, but the nicer parts are generally west of El Camino Real... also check out Redwood Shores, San Carlos, Belmont, and maybe San Mateo.  |

I agree with the above. Anywhere in Redwood City west of El Camino Real (Hwy 82) and between Whipple and Woodside Rd should be just fine.
