Default Commute to livermore or morgan hill

I may be getting a new job that relocates me to Livermore/Tracy or to Morgan Hill. I would rather live in San Mateo or SF and drive out to those areas. Is this daily commute doable or not really possible?

i am not familiar with these areas at all. What are Livermore/Tracy and Morgan Hill/Gilroy areas like? Compared to the SF area, what is the demographic there? Is there anything to do there?

Livermore if you want to live in SF or San Mateo. Don't even thinking about commuting from those places to Morgan Hill.

I grew up in Morgan Hill. It's basically the place where you live if you're originally from Texas. Cows, horses and deer intermingle with big estate houses and big-box shopping. Gilroy is our garlic-producing cousin.

I used to live in Morgan Hill up until last year. Commuting from San Mateo won't be bad once you pass San Jose, after that it'll be nothing.

Morgan Hill is a place for families. They have decent schools and new, very affordable housing. Like I said, it is very family oriented.

They have a very cute downtown with a couple of cute places to eat.
For me, it was very generic. We spent most of our time in San Jose and San Francisco.

My husband commuted FROM Morgan Hill to Mountain View and although the morning commute was a cinch, his afternoon commute was HORRIBLE. 101 is a nightmare.

I have never spent much time in Livermore so I really cannot help you there.

Morgan Hill is the headquarters for that Thomas Kincaid person who claims to be an artist, lol...so what does that tell ya?

Oops, hope that's not where you'll be working.

Good luck!

Shanny
