Default Historical house affordability for San Francisco

Does anyone have an idea where to find a graph about San Francisco's house affordability index and price to income ratio? All I can find goes back to 1997 but I'm looking for something that goes back to the 70's. Thanks for your help!

Sorry I can't really help you, but here's a little info related to the topic...

My parents bought their house in Noe Valley in 1981 for $180,000 (a 3 story victorian built in the late 1800's, with a large yard, and a view of downtown and the east bay). Back then Noe Valley was still working class. Nowadays, with a couple minor improvements, the house would probably be worth around 2 million dollars.

All I can say is the price to income ratio was probably a lot better in 1981 than it is now.
