Willits or Sebastopol?
So I will be moving in three weeks to either Willits or Sebastopol. Any thoughts on the pros and cons of these areas? Any recommendations to moving to any of these areas?
(I will be moving with a job that allows me to work remotely wherever I please--just need high speed internet)

They are both wonderful hippie enclaves. What more could you want?
Sebastopol is closer to San Francisco of course, so that would be a big bonus in my book. But I'm biased...if I could live anywhere without having to think of jobs or money I would certainly choose Sebastopol.

Do you want to be closed to shopping, entertainment, etc.? If so, then choose Sebastopol. Willits is way out in the middle of nowhere.

Go with Sebastopool, much better location and not nearly as isolated. Willits is not that nice at all and has a bit of a meth problem up there.

Dear Willits or Sebastopol....
Both have rural settings and as others have replied "hippie feel" although Sebastopol does bring a lot of people from the San Fran Bay area who purchase/build weekend country homes.
If you are buying - no comparison between the two. Sebastopol is definitely on the pricey side...Willits not so much.
Weather wise - depending on whether you like sun or foggy conditions, Sebastopol has both. And a quick 15 minute drive to some of the most fantastic ocean vistas and beaches.
If you want help finding a home, let me know. Always happy to help out.
