Default Antioch or Concord??

Where would you buy a house for the next 5 years with a two year old!?
Older Crappish parts of Concord, or Newer Lone Tree/John.. Blvd (near black diamond) area??

Crazy to commute to Lafayette from Antioch?? Anyone know how long?

Concord. Depending on when you commute and exactly from where to where it could be from 35 minutes to an hour to go from Antioch to Lafayette in the morning.

The two year-old starts pre-school in 3 years. So, you kind of need to consider schools to some extent. I would probably pick Concord because the commute is better. Concord is okay if you stay away from Monument Blvd. and that area. Also, downtown near Todos Santos has had a lot of crime recently. South Concord near Treat Blvd. is okay. Antioch has the Section 8 problem. Think twice about it.
