Default Dixon - If you live there, where do you work?
Hi All,

I'm considering a move to Dixon and am wondering where most residents work. Can you please let me know? Thank you!

I know only a few people in Dixon. One actually works in San Francisco. He wanted a house so bad that he bought out there when he couldn't afford the Bay Area. He says it doesn't bother him but I wouldn't wish that commute on an enemy. The rest (4) all work for the state and commute to Sacramento. It's a much shorter but still frustrating commute. I'd imagine most people in Dixon work in Sacramento.

I've never lived in Dixon, but I have lived in Davis. Some employees of UC Davis who cant afford to live in Davis live in Dixon which is a short commute.

A lot of people who work in Davis at the University of California-Davis, live in Dixon as the latter is less expensive than Davis
