Default Discovery Bay - do residents all telecommute?

There are such beautiful homes for sale now in Discovery Bay at great prices (!!!) but I'm wondering how people can make a living there. Does everyone telecommute? Do people actually commute to Berkeley or SF every day from all the way out in Discovery Bay? Love any info you might have. Thank you!

A buddy at work (in Oakland) lives in DB and loves it. Has a big house on the water with a boat dock, a couple of boats, etc. He's been doing that commute for at least 15 years.
