Default El Cerrito Elementary Schools

Does anyone have any experience with the elementary schools in El Cerrito? I can get the API scores, but I'm hoping for more information than just a number based on standardized tests. Thanks.

naomisday is on a distinguished road
My cousin grew up in El Cerrito, in the 60's and 70's...she went to an elementary school that
has since closed...she had an excellent education...I asked her opinion--and she said
that Madera Elementary is still good and Kensington Elementary in Kensington are the
top schools....

Good luck with your school search...I know it is hard today....

Elementary schools there are OK, middle school / Jr. High acceptable, high school completely unacceptable (W. Contra Costa aka "Richmond" HSD).

Are you referring to El Cerrito HS?
