Are you still thinking of moving there?
Have you google mapped it? You can get a street view on google maps and see the neighborhood pretty well.
The BART train noise is tolerable, but could possibly annoy you, I don't know. It kind of sounds like a loud wooshing wind mixed with a series of clicking noises. I got used to it, but I don't miss it, now that I'm gone.
As I said in an earlier thread, parking can be a problem, depending on when you get home from work. I looked at the place you are thinking of moving and it's a dead end street, so being able to park on it later in the evening might be a problem. There is also a small little health food grocery store right there, but I'm not sure if people park on the street to shop there.
You can probably park across the street by the Dental Office, but it was behind the Dental Office that I saw a vagrant making a nest for the evening, and hacking up phlegm.
