I was in Escrow to buy a house on Picardy... it was probate and during the hearing a Real Estate Broker stood up in the back of Court and we started to bid... I dropped out at 74,500 and he got it for 75k... this was in the 80's

Home was neglected and yet all of the special unique features were in tack... such as a beautiful curved entry door and dining room and living room with excellent built-ins... wasn't meant to be... ended up over on Bartlett...

Clearly you didn't recognize the tongue-in-cheek line I borrowed from the Lake Wobegon segment of Garrison Keillor's radio show, A Prarie Home Companion. There is absolutely nothing hostile about it.

By the way, Keillor is also an author and goes on occasional speaking tours. You really should try to catch one of his appearances. Most humorous and can be enlightening. In a sense I "blame" him for causing me to make the decision to retire last year. Something he said while here in Sacramento resonated.
