Hobart is on a distinguished road
Default What Internet Choices in Southern Marin.

I am moving on July 15 and I want to make sure I decide ahead of time this vital utility as important as electricity and water service. :-)

ATT UVerse in the home I might rent, however, I want to know what other choices I will have. I know that COX or was it Comcast cable had a monopoly on Cable service int he area and I think I might be too far from the telephone exchange to get really fast DSL. I feel that San Francisco should have more internet choices than most of the cities in the country. So what other choices might I have?

Besides the CABLE what else? By the way, I will have direct line of sight views to downtown San Francisco.

Comcast cable is the big one around here. I have ATT DSl and have been very pleased with it, so far. I think uverse is available but I haven't looked into it. I am pretty sure ATT and comcast are it, for the "large providers" but I know there are alternatives, i just haven't researched them too much because I got a good deal with ATT.
