Any suggestions in my choices? (Fremont, Concord: houses, buying, income)

Ok, I'm back so this are the places that I came up with. Do you guys have any suggestions which would be the BEST area to live in?
Choices:
SE of SF:
Dublin
Fremont
Livermore
San Ramon
N of SF:
San Rafael
Novato
Larkspur

What income do you have?
What price of home can you afford?
What size of house are you expecting?
What type of weather do you prefer?
What type of atmosphere do you prefer? (city or suburbs)
What demographics do you prefer? (social, racial etc)

Yeah, we're going to need more info! I can tell you MY top picks on the list (San Rafael or Larkspur, fwiw), but they might not work into your needs and lifestyle... what are you looking for specifically? What would define a "perfect" town for you?

Yeah, sorry about that. Here are pretty much what I need.

1) pretty much safe
2) easily accessible to the train station
3) around 400-500k housing (buying)
4) housing size 1900+ sq ft
5) majority white or asian
6) as long as it is not foggy or it rains a lot, I am pretty much fine with any weather.
7) city or suburbs is fine.
8) around 1hr train ride or car to SF

Fremont, or Dublin look like your best options on your list...Not many Asians in Livermore, and
the public transportation from the North Bay (Novato, San Rafael, Larkspur) aren't great and are either too pricey or too far away. San Ramon doesn't have a BART station so you'd have to drive to the one in Dublin/Pleasanton.

I agree with clongirl, Fremont or Dublin. Why? You can drive or take BART. That's nice.

I'd recommend Dublin or Walnut Creek based on your answers.

I'd concur with the above. Anywhere in the "extreme" East Bay near BART would be good - particularly Walnut Creek, Fremont, Dublin, or San Ramon. Good luck!

Of those I would echo the suggestions for Fremont or Dublin. San Ramon housing is going to higer than your range and further from BART.

You might consider Walnut Creek though I'm not sure what houses are going for these days. I haven't priced anything there since the downturn really started. Concord (certain parts anyway) or Pleasant Hill will have a lot of what you are looking for also and both of those places also have BART stations.
