Moving to the Bay Area...please help (renting)
I may be moving to the bay area because of a job in San Ramon, but it seems to me i can't afford the rent in San Ramon. So i'm looking for somewhere nice...with a good high school but in the surrounding area of San Ramon. I don't mind driving about 40-45 mins to work. Please Advise!!
I'm looking for a two bedroom, and i prefer a house/townhouse...but it looks like if i want to be a little cheaper i'm going to have to go for a apartment.

That's going to be a tough nut to crack. $1500 will get you a decent 1 bed. apt. You might have to go $1800 - $2000 for a nice 2 bedroom apt.

Move to Walnut Creek you can get a very good apartment for that money. A 2BD for sure. Oakland has very cheap rentals too but I am not a fan. You would have to really know the area and actually when I think about it you want to move some where with good schools scrap Oakland unless you are willing to pay for private school on top of your rent. Alameda you should be able to get something too. Also, you can rent in Danville. I'd go with Danville or Walnut Creek.
