Default Best schools in San Anselmo, Fairfax & San Rafael?

We are looking to move to either San Anselmo, Fairfax or San Rafael. We're trying to decide between these towns and schools will be a big factor because we have two little ones. Can anyone give me input on where they would choose to live for the best schools? TIA!

I can only comment on San Rafael. If you decide to move there, you might want to live in the north area (Terra Linda, Mont Marin, or Marinwood), because they are in the Dixie District, which has for many years had an excellent reputation. My family's experience with Dixie was very good. The San Rafael SD, which would include the central and southern areas of SR, does not enjoy that reputation, although I have not had any kids in that district, so I can't really judge.

Sorry you haven't gotten much of a response. Must not be many people from Fairfax and San Anselmo on this forum.
