Default Manteca Nightlife

I'm considering a move to Manteca and wanted to see what it has to offer in terms of nightlife. I'm a 27 year old straight male young professional. Not really into the club scene but could always go for a good sports bar or nice irish pub type of scene. Where do the mid-late 20 year olds hang out in Manteca? Any info in regards to specific bars or strips is much appreciated. Thanks.

You might want to check with the Stockton/Sacremento folks because Manteca is a good distance away from SF.

Um, do you know anything about Manteca? What sort of job does a young professional get in Manteca? Hospital maybe?

Let's just say it's a bit of a one-horse town, and most nightlife will be of the norteno / ranchero variety

Why would a mid-20s single guy want to move to Manteca? Don't you want to be somewhere with a little more opportunity? Granted, I've never been to Manteca... but isn't it a small town? The nearest "big" city is Stockton, which by all accounts should be avoided unless absolutely necessary.

Pretty much everyone I know from the Manteca/Stockton/Lodi area comes up to San Francisco on the weekends when it comes to night life. I don't think you'll find much in that area.
