Default Work in downtown Fremont(Irvington District) Where to live?

I am going to work in Downtown Fremont. I have young kids. Where is affordable housing (<$750,000) with good school (high school, Junior School API> 800 score ).

If I move to Pleasanton, how is the commute from Pleasanton to Fremont on freeway 680 (exiting on Washington Blvd, Fremont)

Pleasanton/Dublin may be a good bet for you with the price range and good schools. You'd probably hit 84 and then 680 and you'd be going opposite traffic. We have decent schools in Fremont and it's so peaceful here, but if you can afford it, Dublin and Pleasanton are very nice as well.

I would check out Pleasanton or Dublin if you need some thing more affordable. Great communities that can not be beat. Best case scenario you can get to fremont in about 15-20 minutes via 680. Worst case your looking at about 45 minutes.
