No, not true. SSF does as does Visitacion Valley. However, San Bruno Mtn blocks the wind and fog so that Brisbane proper is probably about as foggy as Milbrae or Burlingame (or Potrero Hill). Only where there is a really thick marine layer, the type that makes fog cover the whole Bay Area, would it seriously impact Brisbane.

Maybe not so much in the older part of Brisbane where all the houses are, but actually about half of Brisbane does get heavy fog. I'm talking about the newer part off of Guadalupe Canyon that seemed to double Brisbane's population once it was built. I have a few friends that live there and there has been a lot of fog many of the times I've been over there.

I'm not as familiar with the main part of Brisbane though, so maybe it doesn't get quite as much fog. I didn't think it would be any different since the other part does, but I could see what you're saying here as being true.

bine_ap81 is on a distinguished road
Hey I live in San Bruno and as long as she stays south of the freeway she will have sun all the time lol
Really it s like a cut off for the fogg for some reason...
She can probably get a 2 bedroom for 1800 around here and btw living closer to the airport is actually not bad ,just stay past the railroad tracks and you are good to go. I live right off of El Camino around the corner from "the avenue" which is a small san bruno downtown walking shopping area ,really san mateo avenue ,and it s great! Love the mentioned shopping, walking everything on hand facts and it s safe! I walk here all the time with my little daughter and no problems at all!Very friendly neighborhood!
In my opinion San Bruno is the way to go and bart is right here so she can just hopp on that to go to work...
good luck for your friends housing search
