Default Best Vallejo Neighborhoods

Hi...I am considering purchasing condos in two Vallejo neighborhoods:

1bdrm in Lighthouse condos near Wilson/37 (Vallejo Heights)
Best selling features are top floor, upgraded interior, gated community, walking distance to Riverpark-bike to waterfront/ferry, Cons: small unit...balcony overlooks pool (thinking it will be noisy and little privacy)

2bdrm in SeaPort Village Condos Near Sandy Beach/Maritime Academy
Best features are larger unit with fireplace, upgraded interior, private balcony. Cons: Have to drive down 29 to get to waterfront/ferry (seems a little sketchy on 29 to ride bike), unit is downstairs with another unit on top

Both condos are similar priced with similar HOAs...

I like the Lighthouse condo location for convenience to waterfront
I like the Seaport location condo for value and space

Anyone have any insight or experience in either of these neighborhoods?

Thanks!!!!

I once got off of 37 at Sonoma Blvd and almost got sick, it smelled so bad.. I would guess it's not that much better a mile away at Wilson..

I like the area at the southern waterfront as it looks and feels more like Benicia. But why not Benicia?

Benicia while it is very nice, is more expensive and I have to stay in my budget....

I like Vallejo. I'm sure you will too.
There are many safe, family-friendly neighborhoods. You could do worse.

Good luck to you.
