Default Benicia... are drivers aggressive there?

We plan to spend a week or two up there and I'm wondering what it's like
and if the drivers are fast and furious like some parts of southern california??

I live in a nearby town, and frequently travle to Benecia, and don't find that drivers in the town of Benecia drive fast and furiously in the town. However, on the highways going to and from Benecia, 680, 80 or 780 the highway into Benecia, some people drive fast on furiously as they do on most highways on the East and West Coasts. Being originally from Boston, MA, however, I don't find the driving to be that fast and furious, but of course Boston, MA has a reputation for wild, crazy, agressive drivers. I think you'll be fine.

Thanks! My son will be driving while we are there and I was a little worried.
I'll keep him off the freeways!! I had heard that a while ago about Boston
drivers but was surprised. I guess there are crazy drivers everywhere almost nowadays. I'm getting ready to move from Southern California to
the Central Coast and was pleased to see more people drove sane. Not
all but more...

Default Driving in Benicia

It's a great town, small and easy to navigate downtown. We used to live there and I learned to drive in the town The bridges on either side (The concord/martinez and bridge linking you from Vallejo to Crockett) can be a little hairy. I don't know if I'd want him doing that unless he is used to navigating tolls and large bridges!

Thank you... good to know!! He's not used to driving on bridges at all
so he'll be reined in for town only. Thank you!!
