Don't forget Danville. Only 10 minutes to Walnut Creek, and has a small-town feel. Just not sure on what the rent is for a 2 bd, 2 ba. We have a 2400 sq ft 4 bd 3 ba house we are renting for $2900/mth. However, we also have an HOA with tennis courts and pool. Pretty much most neighborhoods seem to have a community pool or something. Awesome schools in Danville if you decide to stay until your child is school-aged.
