vallejo; crime?
OK, I'm confused. Several responders to questions on this site have suggested that the only desireable neighborhoods in Vallejo are areas like Mare island and Hiddenbrooke. Any yet when I check out the statistics on sites like Moderator cut: link removed, linking to competitors sites is not allowed These areas have the HIGHEST crime rates. While contrary to my expectations downtown has the lowest rates. What gives? Are people's perceptions that distorted, or is the crime data incorrect?
