saimamom is on a distinguished road
fromthebay, those are good suggestions. We just came back a couple days ago from Burlingame/SF and found a condo on the first day. It's an excellent location for us. It's on Murchison, a block from Mills Peninsula and a block from Spring Valley Elementary school. So I'm happy with this rental. It's a condo conversion, just completed with all brand new everything. There's granite, stainless steel, washer/dryer inside, but only about 1000 sf and 2b/2ba. We'll stay there a year. It's technically in Millbrae but one block over is Burlingame. Since we found it on the first day we didn't even get to drive down to Foster City. It sounds beautiful with great schools but my husband really wanted to stay closer Mills Peninsula. We spoke to a couple real estate agents who also raved about Foster City. We're packing now for our move in July. Thank you to everyone for their helpful comments.
