Default The Winchester Mansion

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone on here has ever gone to the Winchester Mansion in San Jose, is it really haunted? What are your opinions on it? Thanks all

I have been to the Winchester mystery house and I don't think it's haunted. If you google Winchester mystery house, you will find their website. It was interesting visiting the place once, but I don't think I would go back.

Much of the place is closed off from tourists, so any assessment is pretty baseless.

The tour is okay. I wouldn't be suprised if it was haunted.

I live one mile from the place and used to go a ton as a kid with my Dad. My husband and I I have gone a few times - once during their "flashlight" tours on a Friday the 13th (note, if you don't have kids, don't go until the later tour - we went at 8pm and the kids on the tour were waving the souvenier flashlights all around blinding us).

Anyway, I do not believe it is "haunted" per se. I believe there is some spiritual activity, but I do not believe it to be ghosts.

If nothing else, it is an interesting place to go to see some incredible architecture and detailing in the rooms and the furniture.
