Default Average Rent in Sunnyvale

Hi,
We currently live in 2B 2B Apartment, with wash/dryer hookup, central AC, gym, pool. Its 1050sqft. We love the place so far besides some minor issues, but we can live with it. My question is, our lease is up and it went up from 1800 to 2000. Thats a big hike with our budget, with some changes i think we can manage. Should we start looking around, we have a month to decide and we just dont have the time to shop around, check out places etc. plus all the moveing again. So is this the about right rent in area, can there be better in the area worth moving too?

note: we are in north part (wolf rd/fairoaks)
we want to stay in SV

Thanks for any advice.

Sunnyvale is expensive because it's close to a lot of high-paying jobs without a bad commute. 5 minutes to Netapp is worth it to a lot of folks.. so if that's your situation, yes, it's worth it. If you're working in San Francisco, no, it's not worth it.

I think there's a couple apartment complexes off Bernardo between Camino and Eveylyn which are renting similar sized 2 bdrms for about $1750 right now. This is in Sunnyvale too
