While Selig wanks around with MLB owners, the Giants have been stoking a group of South Bay residents posing as San Jose Giants supporters who will do everything to stop the A's from coming to SJ. NIMBY by proxy. As successful as bunting on a two-strike count, they nevertheless seek to bolster their phony group's exploits by seeking out the help of those who live near Diridon station, who would lobby to halt the building of the stadium. Getting the ears of any SJ official to kiss up to the SF Giants has proven to be remarkably difficult. Wonder how much they pay their little proxy group?

The A's won't be able to move to San Jose unless a super-majority of the MLB owners approve it. That has *always* been the sticking point. The city has been dropping their shorts, bending over and spreading their cheeks begging the A's to ream them for at least 5 years now. The problem has never been one of getting the city to accept the idea.
