I agree with your assessment. It's pleasant enough but I would never want to live there. It's a boring place to live for singles or folks who don't have kids.

Except maybe for John Fry's crazy 8,000 yd. ultraprivate golf course. But you have to get invited by him to play it. Try breaking 100 on that!

We are all just hoping and praying for a positive turn in all this. I know it looks bleak but we won't give up.

If one had to live in a car, that wouldn't be too bad. Like the double-wide in the trailer park.

I still have my 1978 American Clipper class/type C Motorhome. I think it was made in Morgan Hill. We've spent many happy days & nites fishin', boonie camping in the Clipper. She's been a great motorhome...

We spent a lot of time fishin' the Delta/Mendota canal, the CA Aqueduct, the O'Neill Forebay, CA Delta, Camanche lake, San Joaquin River, Pajaro River, Coyote Lake, Pinto Lake, Naciemiento & San Antonio Lakes, the Gorge, Arroyo Seco, Fort Ord ponds, Hunter Leggit ponds, etc etc...

Andersen Lake, Yuvas Meadows pond

Not really. Why, is your family moving there, or are you running away?

I think Morgan Hill is great for families, but like another poster said, won't be a great fit for singles or couples without kids. And probably not a very exciting place for teens unless they (you) are into sports or some extra curricular activity that you love... I would say decent education at the high school level (not the best schools in the south bay or anything), but education or what you do in your spare time...it's going to be what you make of it
