Willow Glen is centrally located in respects to other south bay "downtowns" or urban commerce centers. As much as Los Gatos and Cambell have more to offer in their downtowns, Willow Glen is a neighborhood right in the middle of SJ. Also, areas near Willow Glen are beginning or have already begun to gentrify and retrofit themselves such as The Alameda and the W San Carlos corridor. As San jose continues to develop it's historical core neighborhoods, Willow Glen will only be that much more desireable and at the center of urban conglomeration.

Livermore is number 5. Have lived here for 5 years and the demographics of the area have totally changed from a very white town to a far more diverse area more in linne with the rest of the bay area.

As for Willow Glen - if I had the money, it's one of the first 'hoods in SV I would consider. Worked there for 8 years, and covered the area on foot inumerable times. All kinds of craftsman homes, and friendly, mellow neighborhood feel.
