I have recently moved in Bay Area and I am not very familiar with Bay Area salary based on the cost of living. I recently got an offer of a program manager at Hi-tech company through a global consulting company. I have around 10 years of IT experience doing development through Project/Program management.
What is FTE salary that I should be asking ? Single Income for a short term but we are double income family with 1 child. I do not have a house yet but have plans to buy soon.

I would appreciate any help and insight that can help me negotiate for better.

I hope you obtain feedback from fellow IT folks but lacking that you could try www.salary.com . They offer a free report and a more detailed report that would probably be more helpful for $. I used this site when doing a salary survey and found it has a bias toward large employer data so it may quote fringe benefits on the high side.

I recall that other posters have provided information resources specific to the Bay Area, you could try searching this forum using salary or compensation as key words.

Also check Glassdoor - an inside look at jobs and companies to see self-reported salaries from people working at the company of interest, broken down by job title.

Sort of low for an IT PM with 10 years experience. That seems more like project manager level. If you are working for a large firm, you may be looking more around $120k+ and a 15% bonus target. Sometimes, you'll get stock RSUs as well.
