Airport->1st->Brokaw->880

No connector between 87 and 880, though they cross SW of the airport. I think the OP should be aware of that.
Painful in what way? Lots of traffic lights/stop signs? Or jammed with traffic?

Both. Any time you have to use 1st Street, it adds at least 10-15 minutes to any drive, and it's almost unavoidable when trying to get between 87 and 880. That's why I take 87 to 280S, which turns into 680.

In that, no matter what you do, you have to get off the freeway, go through many lights, and make a turn across traffic at least once.

Say you take Airport/1st/880. You will likely have to stop at Airport (no right on red), yield at 1st.

Charcot/1st/Brokaw/880? The 87 offramp becomes Charcot. You'll yield or stop at 1st (right turn). Stop at Brokaw (left turn). Hit several light on Brokaw on your way to 880.

10-15 minutes added.

Typical. "the neighborhood" are the ones who forced the business to close (the bar/restaurant) because "it made too much late night noise" (mainly motorcycles leaving at bar close, I understand). Even though the business was there long before any of the neighbors' houses were built. Then they go and mess with the owner's right to make money on his property. ****ers.

To get to work, I used to continue from the First Street exit onto Charcot and take a left on Junction. If you keep going, it dead-ends with a stop sign at O'Toole, you can take a right onto O'Toole and then a left onto Brokaw and get to 880. The big problem with that is if you're coming the other way and dealing with lengthy metering lights.

Default Home buying on the border of willow glenn and Cambrian park

Hello there,

I needed help with information regarding the area bordering willow glen and Cambrian park.
Looking at a home which has been projected as willow glena area but it actually is in Cambrian park side , on the willow glen Cambrian park border.

Is it ok to buy a home which is in the border?
Schools are farmmatre elementary and Ida price middle.

What are your thoughts on this?
Listed pricy as it is projected as willow glen home and not Cambrian park.

Appreciate your thoughts.

Cambrian is an excellent area to look into and is actually not cheaper than Willow Glen. Probably because of the schools and proximity to major freeways. It's also been going through major changes and now that Cambrian Park Plaza is up for sale the area will only become more desirable. Get in while you can, if you can, as there are few SFH even available in 95124. It's a great community.
