The overall weather is better in San Jose because its not always that cold in the morning. Miami does have nice weather, but not everyone loves the humidity. I live in the desert with no humidity and I personally hate hot humid places. 110 with 0 humidity vs. 90 with 100% humidity. San Jose in the summer is almost perfect most of the time with that cool ocean breeze at night.

BTW, the best beaches in FL are on the west coast. I espeically love Siesta Key by Sarasota, actually ranks pretty high on the best beaches in the US. The sand is like powder. But if your a serious surfer the surf at Mavricks by Half Moon bay is the ultimate, but I agree that CA beaches are over rated.

BabyWearer is on a distinguished road
Hey I haven't read all of the replies but just wanted to say - some people see things half full or half empty. And there are a lot of loud half emptiers out there.

Congratulations on your new job and upcoming move.

We recently moved from San Jose to Washington and I love the weather and miss my friends and community there. If our situation were different (I want to stay home and raise our family - so done with corporate life!) we would have stayed.
