Interesting that you can spot fakes so easily and notice them so much. Not an "LV" fan, myself (not a fan of paying others to overtly advertise their product at all, actually) but I couldn't tell you the last time I noticed someone else's LV purse, much less took the time to wonder if it was real or not.

Funny - I was just about to post something very similar.

It's like the people buying the low end C-class Benz's to show off, lol. Get an SLS AMG GT Roadster and then we'll talk.

Or a C class Benz with rented spinner wheels, a souped up sound system, smoked out headlights and tail lights and a fake LV bag mounted in the passenger seat. Now that was paid off with either payday loans or drug money.

The sick part is that some poor bloke is working 70 hour weeks and cashing in his stock options just so the Mrs. can blow it on LV bags. Those aren't like a Tesla Model S, which is clearly a very sound and rational investment decision, especially considering one man can singlehandedly solve the global warming crisis by forking over cash to a billionaire's pet project.

Those Chevy Volts are such gas guzzlers.

Gucci, Prada, Chanel, BCBG, Fendi, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Burberry.... who cares. It's all the same crap.

Having luxury brand items has become passe in my opinion. You dont need to have money or class apparently to own one. They cheapen you. They make u look try-hard rich. It's pathetic.

Show me a big house, fast car, plastic surgery, vacation spots, and a chef cooking your dinners, then I'll be impressed.

I heard Zuckerberg wears three or four LV bags simultaneously when he is walking around his house in private. Some people....just can't get enough.

IME the SF Bay Area, overall, is less interested in luxury brand goods than other locales, such as Hong Kong, NYC, SoCal. I would think tech-toys such as Tesla cars, and outdoor recreational equipment such as premium bicycles would be more of a upscale consumer choice here, given the environment.

I go to work, every single Asian lady has a fake LV bag. I go to the mall, LV bags.

It's not a status symbol anymore! Even when I walk past the LV store in a mall, I just think, "why spend the money to get a real one, when this place is overrun by fake LV products?" It's almost hilarious how people think they are distinguishing themselves with the $60 Union Square fake product that they feel so special pretending it's a status symbol. LOL
You come here and could complain about the price of housing or hourly wage, but you want to complain about fake handbags?

LOL
