But do they plant the beer in one's hand, then arrest them? Haven't seen that one yet.

Should one test SJ's finest with a Gordon Biersch pint whilst swaying down Santa Clara St...then you bring it on yourself.

Why would COPS go to San Jose? Until recently, it was a very quiet city. No problems. Of course, with pension reform and the droves of police officers who left the city, its becoming a violent place. Therefore, COPS has filming opportunities.

Supply and demand.

There has always been crime in certain parts of San Jose. Actually in the 80's the East Side was much worse than it is today, even with the recent spikes in crime. Most of the city is safe, but the higher crime areas have always had serious problems, especially gang on gang violence.

They could do MTV COPS in Dublin, with all those "my kid would never do that" stories of parties happening when mommy and daddy are gone, but the heavy duty lawyers of the township barons present a bit more of a barrier than is worth the effort. We'll just wait for the "torn from the headlines" edition brought to you by the fine folks at Law and Order. Kind of hope it's not SVU.

But otherwise, there are one million people down here, just in this city. **** happens. Even in what has historically been noted as the safest big city in the country. Seems a few more have been a bit naughty in the last few years. Has to do, in part, on having less cops to deal with these things, due in part to outrageous pensions that sap the city's ability to pay for more boots on the ground. So COPS will certainly come up with some action on camera (or maybe they'll just overdub stuff on that stupid heli that keeps buzzing everybody's neighborhood for no apparent reason).

Just remember kids: If they are in action getting a shot - don't get in the shot ("shot" being the keyword).

Yes. Agreed. The safest city. UNTIL pension reform was voted in by you morons. Now, it isn't. Crime in San Jose has risen. Thanks to the Chuck Reed and the idiots in San Jose. Hundreds of police officers, seasoned, qualified, police officers have left. Leaving this city waste to crime.

People warned you of such fallout. Yet, you didn't care. Live with it and learn. What looks good on paper, doesn't always translate to good policy on the ground.

You shall pay MORE, now, then had you reached a solution. Burn San Jose and you will.

You sure do have a lot of anger an resentment. It must be a miserable existence. Have a great day!

WOW. I hope you find some peace and happiness in your life. Going through life so bitter only brings you sorrow and health problems. Best wishes to you.

I totally agree....I couldn't imagine any other theme song. Fits the show perfectly.
