Nobody should EVER move to the Bay Area. It is too dangerous. Stay away. It is too crowded, and too much 'lots of bad things'. Stay away.

Bay Area is great. Ok there is east San Jose where most of those things happens but no one normal go there. Everything else is great. If You have at least 500k in assets and degree in IT definitely worth to move to bay area

San Jose: Woman found stabbed to death behind medical center - San Jose Mercury News

The most recent stabbing on Jose Figueres is in a total s**thole neighborhood on the East Side. My brother lived on that same street with his wife and kids for about three years because it was all they could afford at the time. I hated going to visit him there. As soon as he could afford it, he moved immediately.

Police: San Jose woman identified as mother who stabbed son to death in Del Valle Regional Park in Livermore - San Jose Mercury News

The killing of the baby by his own mother didn't even occur in San Jose. It happened in Del Valle Regional Park, near Livermore. The mother clearly had mental issues and it has nothing to do with crime trends in San Jose.

San Jose: Police arrest two, seek two in 'wrong car color' killing in East San Jose - San Jose Mercury News

This crime occurred in an infamously gang infested part of town. The neighborhood has always been a high-crime area...no real news here.

Santa Clara: Three middle school students suspected of killing animals at Wilcox High - San Jose Mercury News

Um, Santa Clara is a separate city from San Jose.

Audrie Pott case: Sex assault bill named for Saratoga teen moves forward - San Jose Mercury News
Saratoga is also not in San Jose.

San Jose still is one of the safest big CA cities. The vast majority of serious crime happening in San Jose is in parts of town that have always been bad. The East Side was even worse back in the 80's than it is now with the recent uptick in crime. San Jose has seen a recent uptick in crime, but most of it is still happening in historically bad parts of town. The vast majority of the city is safe and most people don't live in fear of becoming crime victims.

You could've picked some better news links. They don't really validate any kind of point that San Jose is some sort of crime-plagued city...especially since three of them didn't even occur in San Jose.

Absolutely. This place is a cesspool replete with the most contemptuous vermin this side of a Christian Coalition convention. Stay away, for the good of yourself, your loved ones, and the pure-blooded pious. We are horrible animals that should not be graced with the presence of innocents. We tend to feed on their flesh.
